It seems everyone has at least one sunset on the water photo in their gallery. So, this is my obligatory contribution to the pile. An early Spring sunset over Lake Michigan outside South Haven.
And yes, its a freaking big lake. It covers 2X the area of Belgium and, along with the other Great Lakes constitutes the largest body of fresh water in the world.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactEven though this picture has a vintage flair, the colors stand out and compliment the others quite well.
I absolutely love how you've managed to capture the sunset's reflection on the surface of a rippling lake. By doing so, you've managed to add movement to a static piece.
The two colored orbs at the top add a bit of mystery, if not a supernatural appeal. How did those colors show up? At any rate they add beauty and complexity to the piece as a whole.
You've managed to draw the eyes first to the center of the photography by using the tree limbs as a visual frame. Once the center of the photograph is reached, the stunning water-lined horizon made me gasp in awe. I find it beautiful. If I didn't know the earth was round, I'd probably believe it was flat by looking at this picture.
Overall, you did a wonderful job. I'm glad you resubmitted this.
